A structure of a multilayer electrode in a flat panel display is provided to prevent an erroneous operation of a driving circuit by securing sufficiently an installation space of the driving circuit for driving an electrode of an electrode plate. A plurality of electrode plates(50) are disposed to form a panel and includes electrodes assigned to pixels and an effective screen part. A circuit installation region is formed in each of the electrode plates and is defined in a non-effective screen part. The circuit installation region is not overlapped with each of the electrode plates in order to secure a sufficient circuit installation space. A driving circuit is installed in the circuit installation region and is connected with the electrodes of each of the circuit plates in order to drive the electrodes. |
