An open adjustable heater for resistance furnaces consists of a metallic heating element, two terminals, a ceramic tubing, heat insulators, section-shaped insulators for keeping geometric form of heating element and a cover for fastening the heater to a power transmission case. Terminals have different length. The heating element is implemented in the form of a spiral with a part of the longer terminal into internal space. Each section-shaped insulator for keeping geometric form of heating element has direct contact with two adjacent spiral turns of the heating element and with cylindrical surface of the ceramic tubing located inside the spiral.
