The rim (12) has a profile comprising two lateral sides (16) that are connected transversely by a lower beam (18), where the profile is made from aluminum alloy. The lower beam has a spoke hole, where the beam is cold deformed in the surrounding of the hole for increasing the hardness of the aluminum alloy. A support surface is formed in an upper surface of the beam, and a return zone is formed by the cold deformation of the beam. A projection is provided on a lower side of the bream.
