The procedure for determining at least one parameter of a physical and/or chemical transformation occurring in a reaction between two or more components uses a measured value of a heat flow generated by the transformation in a permanent flow channel (40), from which the parameter can be deduced. The channel, engraved in the lower surface of a polymer or silicon plate (22), has a cross-section of between 100 square micrometres and one square millimetre and a preferable flow of between one and 100 nanomoles per second (nmol/s), and the values of the heat flows through it are measured by a thermoelectric sensor (46) made from two plates (48, 50) and a pair of conducting elements (54, 56). The plates are made from materials with different degrees of conductivity, especially bismuth and a telluride.
|
