THIN FILM TRANSISTOR SUBSTRATE AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY HAVING THE SAME

A thin film transistor substrate and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) comprising the same are provided to improve the aperture ratio of the LCD, by bending each of gate lines so that pixels are arranged in a delta type. A plurality of gate lines(G1-Gm) are extended in one direction on a substrate. A plurality of data lines(D1-Dn) are extended across the gate lines. A plurality of pixels are formed at crossing regions of the gate lines and the data lines. The plurality of pixels constitute a plurality of pixel rows. The pixels are arranged in a delta type such that pixel rows are respectively shifted with respect to the neighboring pixel rows. Each of the gate lines is partially bent in a predetermined shape to form bent regions.
