A wind-driven power unit with vertical rotor in which rotor is arranged as two coaxial cylinders with large number of vertical plate blades fixed on those with constant pitch, it has as well shaft of rotor rotation connected to electric generator through mechanical step-up reducer. Rotor cylinders rotate in opposite directions, that for in lower cylinder blades are turned by angle opposite to angle of turn of blades installed in the upper cylinder. Shaft of lower cylinder is made hollow, there shaft of upper cylinder goes, this is connected through reducer to electric generator.
