Device for contactless installation, basing and rotating the thin-walled cylinders during working by cutting is executed on the basis of two coaxially mounted heads, which contain stator (magnetic circuit) with phase windings, whose connection to the multiphase network creates the torque, repulsive forces of workpiece from the pole pieces and forces, which stabilize the workpiece in axial direction relative to the working heads. Centering workpiece is achieved by radial aerostatic supports, which are formed by pole pieces and nonmagnetic spacers of the annular magnetic circuits of stator.
