APPARATUS OF DRIVING INVERTER FOR LCD BACKLIGHT BEING CAPABLE OF CONTROLLING CURRENT ACCURATELY

A driving apparatus of an inverter for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) backlight is provided to obtain a uniform brightness on an entire surface of the backlight by controlling currents for plural fluorescent lamps. A first thyristor(TRC1) is electrically connected to one end of a fluorescent lamp(24) and performs a switching process by a control signal from outside. A second thyristor(TRC2) is electrically connected to the other end of the fluorescent lamp and performs the switching process according to the control signal from outside. A first impedance element(C1) is connected between a first transformer(T1) and one end of the fluorescent lamp. A second impedance element(C2) is connected between one end of the fluorescent lamp and the first thyristor. A third impedance element(C3) is connected between a second transformer(T2) and the other end of the fluorescent lamp. A fourth impedance element(C4) is connected between the other end of the fluorescent lamp and the second thyristor.
