An indoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to making installation and maintenance of the same easier and prevent contamination of an assembly line by forming a front panel to cover a cabinet. An indoor unit of an air conditioner comprises a cabinet(10), a heat exchanger, a connection pipe(52) and a service cover. The cabinet includes a control box, and a terminal box(155) supplying a power supply to the control box, and installed in one side thereof so as to be separated from the control box. The heat exchanger is installed in the cabinet. The connection pipe is connected to the heat exchanger and a refrigerant pipe of an outdoor unit. The service cover covers a part of a front surface of the cabinet. The service cover is installed to simultaneously cover the terminal box and the connection pipe.
