An elastic support for a bridge is provided to increase a coupling force between a rubber pad and upper and lower sub-plates by providing a magnetic attraction force. An elastic support for a bridge comprises an upper plate, which is fixedly installed at a bottom surface of an upper structure(10) of the bridge. A lower plate is fixedly installed at an upper surface(20) of a lower structure of the bridge. An upper sub-plate(30) and a lower sub-plate(40) are fixed to the upper and lower plates, respectively. A rubber pad(50) has load distributors(52), which include at least one cut-off groove(52a), at the external peripheral surface of the rubber pad, which makes contact with the upper and lower sub-plates. The load distributors distribute load generated during a horizontal displacement of the upper and lower structures, thereby preventing a separation of bonding surfaces between the rubber pad and the upper and lower sub-plates. A rubber pad(50) is thermally bonded to the upper and lower sub-plates at two end surfaces thereof. |
