The invention proposes a transformation of active power relays to reactive power relays. Active power relays are part of backup current protections ofpower supply 6.3 kV and used as additional relays power direction. Such transformation is implemented by means of substitution of one printed circuit board of the manufacturer delivery. After this, above-mentioned relays are used in straight power direction instead of current relays as main relays for purpose of short circuit protection.
