The method involves positioning accessories on a plastic parison while the parison is being molded by using a core (1) that forms part of a mold which comprises left-hand and right-hand dies (2a, 2b). The core is allowed to move in a controlled manner at a variable speed and/or with optional stop positions (1a-1c) of variable duration. An independent claim is also included for a fuel tank manufacturing equipment.
