A portable terminal is provided to enhance a wireless communication performance of the portable terminal by minimizing an influence of a radiating pattern by a human body. A portable terminal includes first and second bodies and a ground connecting unit(30). The first body(10) includes a case. A ground is formed on the case. The second body is connected to the first body and includes the case. An antenna is mounted on the second body. The ground is formed on the inner surface of the case in the second body. When the first body is rotated in an opening direction, the ground connecting unit couples the ground(18) of the first body with the ground(28) of the second body.
