FIELD: devices for separating oil, water, or grease from sewage in drains leading to the main sewer, particularly devices to separate two immiscible liquids. ^ SUBSTANCE: device comprises separation member, namely coalescing filter formed as liquid layer having lesser specific gravity. Device is made as vessel with vertical partitions installed in the vessel and defining communicated sections, including receiving section and discharge section. The receiving section has inlet nipple. The discharge section comprises outlet nipple. Device also has removable sorptive filters immersed in upper part of coalescing filter so that the sorptive filters may slide in vertical direction. The device is transversal to drained rain water flow and provides oppositely directed flows. Odd-numbered vertical partition has lower channel, even-numbered vertical partition has upper overflow channel. The receiving and discharge sections are divided with partition. Reel with flange connections and blind gates attached to the flange connections is inserted in the partition. Device provides blind gate separation from reel flanges and reel connection with inlet and outlet nipples by means of inserted reels having flange connections. ^ EFFECT: increased operational efficiency due to possibility of device usage, repair and maintenance work performance without storm water drain putting out of action. ^ 4 dwg
