A discharge cover of a reciprocating compressor is provided to minimize deformation of a cylinder, and to prevent abrasion between the cylinder and a piston due to the deformation of the cylinder by evenly distributing pressure acting on a compression surface of the cylinder. A discharge cover of a reciprocating compressor comprises an upper plate part(101), an inside wall part(110) and an outside wall part(120). The upper plate part includes a plurality of pierced holes for screw-linking with a frame inserted by a cylinder. The inside wall part is extended on one surface of the upper plate part and touches the cylinder, and a discharge valve(140) is placed in the inside. The outside wall part is integrally extended on one surface of the upper plate part so as to be spaced by predetermined distance from the inside wall part, and touches the cylinder.
