The invention relates to low-release naltrexone microsphere compositions, which contains naltrexone in poly(D,L-lactide) matrix with a small amount of residual ethyl acetate, preparations for injections, use and methods for preparation and microcapsulation thereof. Claimed preparation is used for decreasing of heroin and/or alcohol consumption at intramuscular administration.
