A multi-type automatic locking device with a fingerprint recognition function is provided to select one of smart card contact, fingerprint recognition, and password input methods according to the use purpose, method, or environment. An outer structure body is installed on the outside of one opening and closing body selected from a door, a cabinet, a built-in chest, a drawer, a bag, or a personal storage case to adopt key button input, fingerprint input, smart card input, or manual key input methods. An inner structure body is integrated with the outer structure body through a connecting unit and installed on the inside of the opening and closing body. The inner structure body is composed of a power unit(210) installed at the inner upper part in a battery case vertically slid and opened and closed, to receive driving power by inserting a charge-type battery; a menu button(220) disposed at the lower end of the power unit to set password, fingerprint, manual key, and smart card recognition methods; a mode change switch(230) disposed at the side of the menu button, to automatically open and close the opening and closing body by selecting one of the smart card, fingerprint, password, and manual key insertion modes; a control unit(240) controlling the operation of a locking unit according to a password, fingerprint, or smart card signal; a sensor recognizing the closing state of the opening and closing body; and an operating unit(260) operating the locking unit by a signal of the control unit. The locking unit is installed at the side of the inner structure body and composed of a sensor(310) sensing whether the opening and closing body is opened or closed and a slide-type dead bolt(320) functioning as a lock of the opening and closing body.
