LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL AND DRIVING APPARATUS THEREOF

An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel and an apparatus for driving the same are provided to prevent the whitening of the outermost liquid crystal cells in a display area, by forming storage capacitors connected to the outermost liquid crystal cells to have different capacitance values from storage capacitors connected to the other liquid crystal cells. Thin film transistors(TFT) are respectively connected to gate lines(GL1-GLn) and data lines(DL1-DLm). Liquid crystal cells(Clc-Clcn) include pixel electrodes connected to the thin film transistors. Auxiliary capacitors(Csa1-Csam) are connected to the liquid crystal cells. Auxiliary capacitors are connected to the outermost liquid crystal cells corresponding to the first gate line and the last gate line or the first data line and the last data line. The auxiliary capacitors also have different capacitance values from auxiliary capacitors, which are connected to the other liquid crystal cells corresponding to the other gate lines or the other data lines.
