PREAMBLE RE-TRANSMISSION METHOD IN RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A preamble retransmission method of a mobile communication system is provided to enable a base station to request a terminal to retransmit an RACH(Random Access Channel) preamble if the received RACH preamble does not satisfy a particular standard, thereby reducing transmission failure of data. A terminal transmits an RACH preamble to a base station(S10). The terminal decides that reception of the RACH preamble does not satisfy certain standards or verification is necessary(S11). The base station does not include uplink radio resource allocation information in response information of the RACH preamble(S12). The terminal retransmits the RACH preamble to the base station(S13). The base station decides that the preamble satisfies the standards or the verification is completed(S14). The base station transmits response information(S15). The terminal resets time synchronization with the base station, and transmits data to the base station through uplink radio resources(S16).
