<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generator for an air bag with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: An inner cylindrical member 504 is arranged inside a housing. A second combustion chamber 560 filled with a second gas generator 522 is provided inside the inner cylindrical member 504, and a first combustion chamber 550 filled with a first gas generator is provided outside the inner cylindrical member 504. A notch 512 serving as an opening part communicating the first combustion chamber 550 with the second combustion chamber 560 is formed on a peripheral wall of the inner cylindrical member 504. Due to combustion of the second gas generator 522, the notch 512 is opened, so as to communicate the first combustion chamber 550 with the second combustion chamber 560. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
