<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dot processing apparatus capable of obtaining a preferable dot image with suppressed moire at less expense in time, labor and cost, a dot processing program for acting a computer like the dot processing apparatus as above, and an image forming apparatus using the dot processing apparatus as above. <P>SOLUTION: The dot processing apparatus for converting gradation image data expressing an image by a gradation value into dot image data for expressing the image dots in an image drawn area depending on the gradation value includes: a scene discrimination section for discriminating a scene corresponding to the image among a plurality of kinds of scenes; a dot definition selection section for selecting a dot definition depending on the scene discriminated by the scene discrimination section among a plurality of dot definitions for defining dots of different kinds; and a dot processing section for converting the gradation image data into the dot image data by using the dot definition selected by the dot definition selection section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
