<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for extracting iodine by which, even in the case of raw water containing organic materials, such as natural brine, the organic materials can be removed, whereby iodine extraction work can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: The method for extracting iodine from raw water 1 such as natural brine includes: introducing the raw water into a raw water oxidation treatment means, and adding ozonized gas to the the raw water oxidation treatment means to oxidize iodine in the raw water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
