<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the chromaticity of light in a light-emitting device having a luminous layer. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting device comprises the luminous layer 14 and an electrode layer 16. Light taken out of the light-emitting device includes light entering the electrode layer 16 from the luminous layer 14.
