PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information about a range of a print target object to be printed on a print medium during actual printing. SOLUTION: This layout processing device is provided with a layout edition means for editing arrangement of the print target object on the print medium and a layout preview display means for displaying arrangement, which is edited by the layout editing means, of the printing target object on the printing medium. When the printing target object protrudes from a printable area of the printing medium, the layout preview display means displays size information, showing the dimensions of a protruded part and size information showing the dimension of a part accommodated within the printable area.
