PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that a first communication apparatus must transmit a search signal longer than an intermittent receiving interval of a second transmission apparatus to confirm the existence of the second communication apparatus and the amount of battery consumption of the first communication apparatus becomes large and the life of the battery is shortened if the intermittent receiving interval is extended to reduce the amount of electric power consumption of the second communication apparatus. SOLUTION: The first communication apparatus 602 transmits the search signal 11 in an arbitrary search interval B1, and then checks whether or not there is a response 12 from the second communication apparatus 603 for a search processing time Tk. If not receiving the response 12 within the search processing time Tk, the first communication apparatus 602 stops wireless communication functions for a stop period (B1-Tk). The time of receiving operations of the second communication apparatus 603 is configured to one longer than the search interval B1, so that the second communication apparatus 603 can receive the search signal 11 from the first communication apparatus 602 at least once during the receiving operations.
