PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding device provided with a winding roll and a paper feeding roll rotatable together and capable of conveying a belt-like member onto a winding roll side from a paper feeding roll side to wind the belt-like member on the winding roll side in order to perform inspection and machining between both rolls and automating rewinding simply by remodeling a conventional winding device. SOLUTION: This winding device is provided with the winding roll and the paper feeding roll which can rotate together, conveys the belt-like member onto the winding roll side from the paper feeding roll side to wind the belt-like member on the winding roll side in order to perform inspection and machining between both rolls, and is provided with a winding operation stop mechanism part (called also as a brake part) and a rewinding mechanism part.
