The device has a guiding rail guiding a recording medium, where the guiding rail is in contact with a surface of a photosensitive drum (1). A pressure unit presses the recording medium against the photosensitive drum. A drive motor (5) drives the guiding rail in such a manner that the recording medium is in contact with the photosensitive drum. Other drive motor drives the former drive motor in such a manner that the recording medium is provided in contact with the surface of the drum.
