<p num="1"><br/><br/><br/>A connection means (3) for construction elements (1, 2), for example (toy) <br/>building blocks, comprises a strip-shaped member (22) having a thickened <br/>portion (25) and a component (27) of a releasable connection mechanism. The <br/>strip-shaped member can be inserted into a groove (16) in the side walls of <br/>the construction elements (1, 2). Onto the component of the releasable <br/>connection, for example a nut (27), can be mounted further construction <br/>elements (2) in a simple, stable manner. The releasable mechanism here is <br/>preferably that which is present in the construction elements for joining <br/>together without the use of the connection means. The connection means (3) <br/>thus makes it possible to extend the assembly possibilities in a stable manner <br/>in other directions than those predetermined by the construction elements (1, <br/>2) themselves.<br/>
