<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source unit in which a plurality numbers of pieces can be arranged in high density, a light source device in which the light source unit is used, and a projector in which the light source device is used. <P>SOLUTION: The light source unit 10 is provided with a light emitting element 11 in which light emitting diode or the like is used, a substrate 13 at which the light emitting element 11 is arranged, a sealing part 12 through which light from the light emitting element is transmitted, and a collimator lens 21 through which the light emitted from the sealing part 12 is emitted as a parallel light beam. The sealing part 12 has a shape of a rotor having two or more curved faces of protruded convexity shape in the upper part, the collimator lens 21 is made to have a main body of an inverted truncated conical shape and has a top part of inverted truncated conical shape, in which the emitted light from the sealing part 12 is made incident from the bottom face, and emitted from the upper part as a parallel light beam. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
