DOOR LOCKING DEVICE AND ITS ASSEMBLING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door locking device capable of improving assembling workability.

SOLUTION: A ratchet rotating shaft 26 comprises a first step part 262 for rotatably supporting a ratchet lever 27 on a base end side with an anti-coming-off flange part 261, and a second step part 263 for receiving the thickness part of the base plate 1 on the leading end side of the first step part 262. The second step part 263 is caulked to the base plate 1 in such a manner that the ratchet lever 27 is inserted into the first step part 262 and that the base plate 1 is inserted into the second step part 263. Consequently, the assembling workability can be improved by attaching the ratchet rotating shaft 26 in advance to the base plate 1.
