PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device of an automobile motor that can effectively cool permanent magnets of a rotor, can surely prevent the deterioration of magnetic forces of the permanent magnets of the rotor, and can suppress the deterioration of the performance of the motor by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The cooling device is constituted by including the electric motor 6 equipped with the rotor 12 and a stator 10, and a transmission 8 connected to the motor 6. A hollow pit 26 is formed at the external periphery of the rotor 12, the permanent magnets 26a, 26b for driving the motor 6 are accommodated in the pit 26 at an interval, and an oil passage for feeding oil for the transmission 8 to the pit 26 via a rotating shaft 18 of the rotor 12 is formed.
