PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a mobile communication terminal from reaching a dead lock state even when a base station being a communication opposite party is absent after transmission of a wireless connection request. SOLUTION: The mobile communication terminal 10 is a terminal for carrying out processing associated with a wireless connection request to the base station, and includes an end timer 15 for measuring a time after transmission of the wireless connection request to the base station, and a control section 16 for terminating processing associated with the wireless connection request as its control when the end timer 15 measures that the time after the transmission of the wireless connection request reaches a prescribed time and no wireless connection is established by the wireless connection request.
