PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a data overflow from a differential volume on a secondary site when an update data amount in a primary volume increases, in a computer system configured to remote-copy differential data in snapshots. SOLUTION: A control device on a primary site predicts whether or not there will be a data overflow from the differential volume on the secondary site, and if predicting that there will be a data overflow, delays data writing from a host computer to the primary volume for a predetermined time.
