PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nebulizer which is suitable to a jet type nebulizer e.g., where a chemical never flows out and the expected aerosol state of the chemical is maintained even when a container is tilted and used, so that safety and reliability in use are secured, and which can be easily assembled and can be produced at a low cost. SOLUTION: A nozzle 6 is projectingly formed at the liquid pool chamber 5 formed inside of a case housings 4 to jet compressed air from the nozzle hole 13 of the nozzle 6. A liquid suction tube 7 is mounted on the outer peripheral surface of the nozzle 6, and a suction port 21 through which a liquid 12 in the liquid pool chamber 5 can be sucked out is formed at the upper end of the liquid suction tube 7. A suck-up groove 19 communicating with the suction port 21 is formed at the inner surface of the liquid suction tube 7, and a baffle 23 is arranged right over the nozzle hole 13. Thus, the nebulizer 1 can generate aerosol 29 by making the compressed air and the liquid 12 collide with the baffle 23.
