A METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR OBTAINING CONTENT DATA PACKETS IN DRM

A method is provided to obtain content data packets in DRM, which allows a user to re-obtain a supportable DCF when a terminal does not support the current downloaded DCF. The method includes: a terminal receives and parses a first content data packet which comprises media content types and corresponding URL addresses; The terminal selects a media content type and a corresponding URL address from the said data packet; The terminal downloads second content data packets from the selected URL. A terminal device for obtaining content data packets is also disclosed. The method ensures that the re-downloaded DCF can be supported by the terminal. So invalid downloading can be avoided.
