<p>The invention relates to a device for the fumigation of plants and trees in order to eliminate parasites and pests in general, by applying chemical substances without polluting the environment. The device includes a tube which surrounds the plant to be fumigated, comprising at least one manifold for injecting cleaning air and the chemical substances used in the fumigation processes. Said injection manifold extends between the lower portion and the upper portion of the tube. The lower end of the injection manifold is connected to the outlet of a device for injecting pressurised air and chemical substances in a closed circuit, while the lower part of the tube is connected to the inlet of the injection device, defining an inlet duct for the admission of impurities during the tree fumigation and cleaning process. The device also includes a trailer module for decontaminating the tube used during the fumigation process, comprising a rolling chassis with a central section, to which are mounted sets of traction rollers, a guide for the tube to be contaminated and a mechanism for brush-cleaning the tube and suctioning impurities. A second central section defines a container for the tube to be cleaned of impurities by means of brushing. In addition, the rolling chassis is provided with side sections which are articulated with the outer side edges of the central sections and which define covers and lids for the container and the central sections of the trailer unit.</p> |
