A device for joining parquet-type plaques or pieces is provided to install plaques or tiles and parquet-type pieces simply and to take similar decorative effects with non-tongue and groove parquet pieces by making the formation of various deformation possible. The invention relates to a device for joining parquet-type plaques or pieces, wherein four recesses and four projections are formed on pieces correspondingly, the recesses are formed on the edge of a flange located on an extension of a third part of the thickness of the piece, and the projections and the recesses have the form of an obtuse angle triangle adopting an oblique arrangement in the same diagonal direction as the pieces to couple the pieces in the diagonal direction.
