<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a point card system which suppresses the burden of expenses due to difference between points given to consumers from a single shop and services by using points which consumers receive at the shop, and eliminates the inefficiency of a sales promotion method using DM. <P>SOLUTION: The point card system comprises a plurality of shop-side card terminals 11, a point server 2, a customer database 3, and a plurality of member cards 4. Each shop-side card terminal 11 includes a transaction data transmission means 11A and a service information output means 11B, and the point server 2 includes a calling means 2A, an information updating means 2B, a service discrimination means 2C, and a service information transmission means 2D.
