<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the user authentication and progress management on a paper basis equivalent to an electronic basis in an approval flow in which electronic and paper modes of operation are mixed. <P>SOLUTION: A storage medium with approval flow data written is attached to a paper document, and progress information stored in an electronic approval processing apparatus, progress information on the paper document, and progress information stored in the storage medium are synchronized. The progress information synchronization is implemented by a storage medium writer, and a client connected to the electronic approval processing apparatus and provided with the function of updating the progress information. The electronic approval processing apparatus further has a login authentication function to achieve the same user authentication on a paper basis as on an electronic basis when the client sends user information to the electronic approval processing apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
