PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed changing controller for carrying out the learning correction of a command about the engaging force of a friction engaging device so as to be a required speed changing operation, which can suitably perform the speed changing control based on the learning correction value even when an input torque has changed after the start of the speed changing control. SOLUTION: When the variationΔT<SB>IN</SB>of the input torque T<SB>IN</SB>in performing the speed changing operation has become larger than a specified valueΔT<SB>IN</SB>A, correction values pah, pdh of standby pressure command values S<SB>PB1W</SB>, S<SB>PB2W</SB>in a step S9 or a step S12 under a specified condition are switched over according to an input torque T<SB>IN</SB>at that time. Therefore, suitable correction results can be achieved irrespective of the variation of the input torque T<SB>IN</SB>after the start of the speed changing control, and engaging pressure PB1, PB2 of brakes B1, B2 are suitably controlled according to the corrected results.
