PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing concrete, by which concrete having desired fluidity can be obtained easily and to provide an admixture to be mixed in cement. SOLUTION: The admixture A to be mixed in cement CM contains a thickener 1 having an amino or amide group and a sulfonate group and a polycarboxylic acid-based water reducing agent 2.
