PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid storage container which secures an ink storage space sufficiently and can prevent a liquid leakage with no large pressure fluctuation caused even when deformed by an external force applied during transportation, its use or the like. SOLUTION: The liquid storage container is provided in which a protection member 5 is positioned outside of a flexible member 4 and an opening 10 facing the protection member 5 is formed on a surface member 3 that is in contact with the flexible member 4.
