PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapeutic agent for pyorrhoea alveolaris having high therapeutic effect, in the agent for treating pyorrhoea alveolaris. SOLUTION: The therapeutic agent for pyorrhoea alveolaris is obtained by mixing powdery sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO<SB>3</SB>) with a powdery salt (NaCl) in a weight ratio of 1:1. The therapeutic agent for pyorrhoea alveolaris is sufficiently attached to a toothbrush and whole the affected area is polished thereby and then, the therapeutic agent is attached to a dental floss and the dental floss is put into the circumference of tooth in the affected area and the depth of periodontal pocket in the affected area and the therapeutic agent for pyorrhoea alveolaris is uniformly applied to the affected area. Then, the mouth is rinsed. High therapeutic effect can be obtained by repeating above steps several times each day. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
