PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve effect of shock absorption by smoothing motion in an axial direction of an impact absorbing device and minimizing vibration in a radial direction. SOLUTION: The impact absorbing device includes a first rod 10 having an inner surface extending along a longitudinal axis; and a second rod 20 having a constitution for receiving a part of the first rod. The impact absorbing device may have an outer surface having a constitution for preventing the first rod from being rotated relative to a guide member 31. The impact absorbing device may further include an impact absorbing structure 32 arranged between the first rod and the second rod. The impact absorbing device may include a bearing device 40 having a constitution for rotatably guiding motion of the first rod relative to the second rod along a direction approximately parallel to a longitudinal axis of the first rod and preventing vibration in a radial direction between the first rod and the second rod.
