PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rising of water from a tapping screw tightened to a floor plate of a load-carrying platform and enhance the strength and rigidity of a cross member itself in the cross member of a load-carrying platform frame of a vehicle. SOLUTION: A cross section of the cross member 6 basically has a U shape comprising an upper side 61, a lower side 62 and a vertical side 63. A connection side 9 (vertical intermediate side 91 and horizontal intermediate side 92) for connecting the upper side 61 and the vertical side 63 is provided and a closed space 93 is formed by these. The tapping screw 10 for tightening the floor plate 81 of the load-carrying platform and the upper side 61 of the cross member is tightened to a position where the closed space 93 exists. Since a portion where the tapping screw 10 penetrates the upper side 61 of the cross member is covered by the connection side 9, water is not jumped up and rising of water from the tapping screw 10 is not generated.
