PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device capable of obtaining two functions according to an operator despite a simple constitution and a simple operation. SOLUTION: This input device 1 comprises a load sensor 3 installed at a location where the sensor can be operated with pressing force from both of a driver's seat and a front passenger seat of a vehicle and comprising a three-shaft inner force sensor, a push switch 4 comprising a tact switch, and a control circuit. When a face to be pressed 3a of the load sensor 3 is pressed with fingers 7, signals according to the force acting in three shaft directions are outputted from the load sensor 3, so as to output on-signals from the push switch 4. The control circuit finds a resultant force F based on the signals corresponding to the forces in the respective directions of the load sensor 3, and determines to which the direction of the resultant force F is offset rightward or leftward from a face vertical to a pressed face 3a, thereby determining whether the device is operated from the driver's seat side or the front passenger's seat side.
