PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel driving device capable of optimally adjusting a moving picture responsiveness. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal panel driving device 102 provided with a gray scale correction circuit 104, which corrects an input gray scale signal with an overdrive data and outputs a display signal, is also provided with: a luminance sensor 105 which measures luminance of light emitted from the liquid crystal panel 101 and obtains measured luminance; and a correction calculating circuit 112 which adjusts the overdrive data based on the measured luminance.
