PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality electrostatic charge image developing toner which is prepared, by making combination use of a crystalline polyester resin and a non-crystalline resin and is superior in color reproducibility and transparency, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner characterized by containing at least the crystalline polyester resin, the non-crystalline polyester resin, and a copolymer prepared by polymerizing anα-olefin and maleic anhydride, and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. Also, the electrostatic charge image developing toner is preferably the embodiment, having a shell layer containing the crystalline polyester resin on the surface of a core particle surface containing the crystalline polyester resin, the non-crystalline resin, and the copolymer prepared by polymerizing the theα-olefin and maleic anhydride.
