PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress cost increase, deodorize effectively to enable exhaust, at the same time, enable power consumption suppression, and in addition, adjust humidity of a treating material promptly within a suitable range. SOLUTION: The garbage disposal is provided with a processing tub 23, a treating material heating means (electric heater 38), an exhaust means (blowing fan 40) having an exhaust duct 39, and a deodorizing means (catalyst 42). Further, the disposal is provided with an air supply means (sirocco fan 48) supplying outside air from an air supply duct 45 out of a continuity to the exhaust duct 39 to the inside of the processing tub 23, an air supply heating means (air supply heater 49) heating air supplied by the air supply means, and a supply air flow regulation means (damper 50) regulating the supply air flow by the air supply means.
