PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To capture a clear image by generating two-color X-ray beams exceeding/lowering K absorption edge energy of contrast agent in an angiography system. SOLUTION: This angiography system irradiates an electronic beam 1 from electronic accelerator (a linac) of 100 Me class to a silicon single crystal and generates parametric X-ray using iodine K absorption edge as a central energy. A light path of a low-range X-ray beam is shifted by crystal diffraction and superimposed on a high-range X-ray beam. The two-color X-ray beam is irradiated to a sample 6 to capture the image. The image in the low-range X-ray beam generates no image of the contrast agent, however, the image of the high-range X-ray beam generates the image of the contrast agent. This system captures the image by changing over the two-color X-ray beams with shutters 8, 9 and 10, and finds a difference to provide the clear absorption image of the contrast agent alone. The accelerator and the injection of the contrast agent are synchronized with the heart rate of a patient to provide a still image of the cardiovascular with the minimum contrast agent and X-ray irradiation.
